The full diffractive technology of the Tecnis Multifocal allows the patient the ability to see near, far and in-between. The FDA approved Tecnis multifocal lens is considered a breakthrough in intraocular lens technology for people who suffer from Cataracts, with or without Presbyopia, as it restores more youthful vision. The Tecnis multifocal lens does not work with the muscles of the eyes, rather it is similar to two lens in one.
